Speaker | Teacher | Coach | Cop

Michael Chase is a keynote speaker, former special educator, School Resource Officer, and resilience advocate whose life was forever changed at the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Standing less than fifteen feet from the second blast, he acted without hesitation to save lives. That moment revealed the weight first responders carry and ignited his passion for supporting their mental health and wellness.

Michael now speaks nationwide to first responders, educators, and community leaders about trauma, courage, and the healing power of connection. As the founder of T/A Connect – The Trusted Adult Initiative, he equips schools with tools to prevent violence and build cultures of trust. With over 25 years of coaching and mentoring experience, he understands the importance of steady guidance and compassionate leadership.

He is also a proud father who has learned resilience through parenting, divorce, and rediscovering love. Michael’s journey from tragedy to triumph offers a raw, relatable perspective on overcoming adversity and creating a culture where first responders and their communities feel seen, valued, and supported.
