FST5 Lead Support Specialist

Scott Taylor is a retired law enforcement professional with 27 years of service, bringing a deep well of operational, investigative, and leadership experience to the first responder community. Over the course of his career, he served in a wide range of assignments including road patrol, undercover operations, school resource officer duties, evidence technician work, and traffic enforcement. His experience also includes interagency assignments with the FBI, DEA, and U.S. Marshals Service, providing him with a broad perspective on collaborative investigations and federal task force operations. In addition to his law enforcement background, Scott is a certified firefighter and Basic EMT, grounding his work in a multidisciplinary understanding of emergency response.

Today, Scott serves as the Lead Support Specialist for FST5, where he supports first responders and their families through moments of crisis, transition, and recovery. In this role, he helps guide individuals toward appropriate resources, offers steady leadership during critical moments, and reinforces FST5’s mission of ensuring that no first responder or family member has to navigate trauma, loss, or hardship alone.
