I love this podcast 😍
The community that this podcast brings together is phenomenal! They ask the deep, difficult questions that we truly want to know and bring on guests that keep bringing the fire! A great mix of serious and fun, I’d recommend this podcast to any first responder, military, or spouse that may need to take an honest look into themselves and realize they're not alone and their thoughts aren't as unique as they may think they are. Thank you, Cinnamon for bringing us so much information and joy. The work you put into this podcast, the love, the care is so apparent. Thank you, thank you!
Knowledgeable and professional
Cinnamon’s dedication to helping first responders is evident in her podcasts. Her knowledge from being in stations and seeing first hand the impact the job has on the mental health of first responders makes her perspective real, reasonable and genuine. My brother was a paramedic/FF and respected Cinnamon’s trainings and podcasts. Thank you for the guidance and support you provided for these men and women. And thank you for the podcasts that they can listen to anytime!
Cinnamon CRUSHES
I have been a client of Cinnamon for going on 8 years now and I continue to be humbled and so appreciative of her work. She has helped me through so many dark times and helped me to find the tools to walk my healing path. This podcast is such an amazing way for me to continue to learn from her in between our sessions. I cannot say enough good things about Cinnamon and what she has meant to me. She has quite literally saved me, and this podcast is a constant reminder for me that there are people that will come back for you.
Cinnamon is podcast gold 🌟
I cannot say enough good things about this podcast. Cinnamon brings such compassion, expertise, and authenticity to every episode. If you're not already listening, you're seriously missing out. As a trauma therapist who works closely with first responders, she truly understands the weight they carry—and she creates a space that’s both healing and empowering. Her insights are practical, her guests are impactful, and her voice is one of calm in the chaos. Whether you’re a first responder or someone who cares about them, this podcast is a lifeline. Thank you, Cinnamon, for doing this important work and sharing it so generously.
Cinnamon gets it
This podcast has so much good information. Cinnamon has so much heart, she understands and cares deeply for all first responders. The phone line questions is a brilliant touch. It’s so nice to feel that you are not alone in how you walk through life after joining this family. Much appreciated.
Cinnamon is THE BEST
After hearing Cinnamon speak on the show, I decided to schedule a session with her. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. She’s truly changed my life. Her podcast has been incredibly helpful—not just in navigating the unique challenges of being a first responder, but in life overall. I’m committed to continuing both the podcast and my healing journey with her, and I’m excited to keep growing emotionally with her as my guide.

First Responders TOP PODCAST!
ATTD is a must for all first responders to stay on task with their mental health awareness. ATTD has a way of keeping it relatable and just when you think it might be getting too heavy, they lighten it up just the way you’d expect in this industry. Thank you for taking such great care of us. 🐋💙
When all is lost, listen to this podcast ❤️‍🩹
This podcast gives insight to what first responders/first responder families go through and how to deal with and process it in healthy ways. Mental health is something we all need to value and take care of especially in the first responder world. Cinnamon and Erin do a wonderful job at breaking down walls in a way that doesn’t even make it sound like you’re listening to therapists. It is more like two humorous ladies whose passion and love for this community is shown in every single episode. Thank you for all you do ladies - you help in more ways than you know! ❤️
A Lifeline for First Responder Families
After the Tones Drop is a five-star lifeline for individuals like me, the child of a first responder turned first responder wife. Cinnamon and Erin, the dynamic hosts, skillfully articulate emotions I struggled to express and create a supportive community through their podcast. Their real talk discussions, enriched by the genuine kindness and humor they infuse, transcend the typical psychological dialogue, making it an engaging and relatable experience. The diverse array of guests adds depth, offering insights that remind us we're not alone in our challenges. For spouses of first responders seeking genuine understanding and a sense of community, it is an invaluable resource that goes beyond the ordinary, making it a refreshing and comforting space to connect with others who share similar experiences. Cinnamon and Erin have crafted more than a podcast; they've established a lifeline for those navigating the complexities of the First Responder.
Nothing short of amazing
I’m a first responder who has been looking into keeping myself “mentally well”. It’s like going to the doctor for a check up. These episodes help me recognize things that I feel before it becomes a huge issue. There are a lot of confusing concepts that mental health professionals use but this podcasts explains it all so I can totally understand it!! Thanks for putting it all in plain language where I can apply it while keeping it FUN!
My "therapy" in earbuds
This podcast helps me get through so many struggles I face on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. I have loved all the guest speakers and all the podcasts have been something I find encouragement in and can relate to in my own circumstances. I truly look forward to Wednesdays knowing a new podcast is there ready to soak in! Thank you Cinnamon and Erin for all you do... even the things unnoticed. 🥰
Tackling our tough issues with kindness, grace and a little bit of laughter.
Cinnamon and Erin are two of the most honest and caring humans I’ve ever met as a first responder. They hit the whole nail on the head with every episode and I cannot wait to listen to more. By being open and vulnerable themselves, they are able to discuss some really tough issues we face as first responders. AND offer guidance and support through tough times and beyond. Well done ladies. And thank you both for all you do for us!
Hard working pros who know their stuff.
The substance and presentation of this podcast is impressive and valuable. Keep up the good work.
Breaking the stigma and busting myths!
Cinnamon and Erin’s thoughtful take on mental health, substance abuse as well as trauma suffered by first responders is an insightful and raw view into what it takes out of you to be in a constant state of alert. The content is wildly honest and human and is valuable for all people especially first responders and those adjacent ( spouses, partners, family, etc). Bravo to breaking down the walls and giving a platform to those who are saving others by sharing their experiences.
